About us

Educadev (Education for Development), a Non-Governmental Organization founded in France in 1991, helps children in developing countries who are excluded from the school system, by providing them with assistance, books and supplies. Thanks to its donors, Educadev has been able to assist out-of-school children from disadvantaged backgrounds for over 18 years, facilitating their integration and the continuation of their schooling under favourable conditions.

We initiate, fund and manage local schooling projects in developing countries. We are currently helping 540 children directly in 5 countries (Colombia, El Salvador, India, Madagascar and Mali). We raise funds in Europe and work with local partners whom we all know personnally and trust. Our partners receive funds and use them according to the agreed budget, mostly on school supplies and books. They are also involved in creating a positive learning environment in the local community, among children, parents, teachers and local authorities.

Educadev has 14 permanent members, whose yearly subscriptions cover all operating expenses. As a result, Educadev ensures that 100% of donations received are directly used to help children.
